Class Descriptions

Beginner Yoga Series:  An introduction to Yoga. The instructor will provide plenty of one-on-one attention to help participants safely master the basic asanas. The perfect stepping stone to more advanced classes. (Beginner)

Group Reformer:  Pilates tower class starting October 2008. (Beginner to Advanced)

Power Ball:  Build and tone muscle to increase the body’s ability to burn calories.  The instructor will lead you through safe and effective exercises using resistance bands, hand weights, resista-balls, and your own body weight.  Never a dull moment in this variety-filled experience!  (Beginner- Mixed Level)

Abs:  Mixed level, do what you can!  We incorporate fun and challenging moves to engage your core and strengthen your lower back.  If you like the idea of no more back pain, this class is for you. You’re invited to find your core!  (Beginner to Advanced)

Urban Rebounding:  Develop endurance, flexibility, and balance.  Burn calories while you condition your body. A complete workout like no other.  (Intermediate- Advanced)

Cardio Rowing & Cycling:  This interval class combines cycling and rowing as its primary tools to keep you motivated and engaged. Finish with an abdominal segment. Get a full body routine in under an hour! (Beginner to Advanced)

Pilates:  Develop core strength and flexibility.  Work small muscle groups that support the larger muscles to redefine the shape of the body.  Focus is on breathing and stabilizing the core muscles.  Work less, yet much more efficiently and effectively.

Open Yoga:  This class is designed for those who have some familiarity with the basic yoga postures.  The instructor will cue for safety and encourage each participant to proceed at his or her own pace.

Cycling:  Try indoor cycling and see what it can do for you.  A cardio workout on specially designed cycles allows you to work at your own level.  Get in “the zone” and feel the endorphins!  (Beginner- Mixed Level)
*If you’ve never tried cycling before this is a great way to get an extra day of cardio in!
