Yoga Class Information
Ruben’s yoga class is systematic and flowing which includes Hatha, Ashtanga and Anusara influences. Class will always include a warm-up, a gentle build into balancing poses and stretching,  and a calm, relaxed conclusion to your practice. There is no movement in the class that exists without a complimentary inhale or exhale, and Ruben continuously guides his students through these patterns.  With the foundation of breathing and meditation, you will learn how to flow within your mat space with minimum adjustments and effort. Always an open level class, you control how far you push yourself, and Ruben will guide you through variations of each pose depending on your level and ambitions that day. He likes to keep his classes well-structured and playful. “If you know exactly how to move on your mat, you conserve time and energy, and you are able to focus on what matters most: breathing and mediation.” ~ Ruben Villagran

Thai Yoga Bodywork Information
Thai Yoga Massage is a unique style of massage based upon the principles of compassion. As one of the four branches of traditional Thai medicine, Thai massage is an amazing synthesis of many techniques: leaning pressure, reflexology, energy line work, blood stopping, stretching and yogic adjustments to open the body as well as alleviate physical discomfort and mental stress. To achieve all of those effects, Thai massage therapist use more parts of their bodies to give a massage than therapist in any other modality. They use their palms, thumbs, feet, elbows, forearms, and knees to move you through a wide variety of postures. The work is done on the floor with comfortable, padded mats in a quiet and relaxing environment.
